Which tokens can hide amounts?
Solana's Token-2022 program has an extension that encrypts balances and transfer amounts. This board lists every mint we can find with it switched on, and what each issuer kept for itself.
Mints with ConfidentialTransferMint.
Candidates are the Token-2022 tokens on Jupiter's verified, trending, top-traded and recent lists. Each mint account is read from Solana and kept only if the extension is present.
Reading mint accounts…
Encrypted balances, public proofs.
Confidential transfers keep the same token accounts and the same addresses. What changes is that some of the numbers are stored encrypted, and every move comes with a zero-knowledge proof that the math still adds up.
Configure the account
The holder adds an encryption key (ElGamal) to their token account. If the mint has auto-approve off, the issuer's authority must approve the account before it can be used.
Move public to private
Tokens move from the normal public balance into the encrypted "pending" balance. The deposit amount is visible on chain.
Send an encrypted amount
The amount is encrypted for the sender, the recipient and (if set) the auditor. Proofs show the amount is not negative and the sender has enough, without revealing it.
Pending to available
The recipient folds incoming encrypted amounts into their available balance. Only the account owner can decrypt it.
Back to public
To trade on most DEXs the tokens come back out to the public balance. The withdrawal amount is visible.
ZK ElGamal Proof program
A native Solana program verifies the range and equality proofs. Its recent activity is shown at the top of this page.
What it hides, and what it does not.
Confidential transfers are amount privacy, not anonymity. Anyone can still see who talked to whom.
- ●Transfer amounts between confidential balances
- ●Confidential balances of each account (pending and available)
- ●Fee amounts on mints that also use confidential transfer fees
- ●Sender and recipient addresses, and that a transfer happened
- ●Time, fee payer, signatures and every other instruction in the transaction
- ●Deposit and withdrawal amounts between public and confidential balances
- ●The public balance on the same account, total supply, mint and freeze authorities
- ●The auditor (if the mint sets one) can decrypt every amount; the issuer's permanent delegate, if set, can still move tokens
Does a token on this board mean people use confidential transfers?
No. It means the issuer switched the extension on. Usage lives in individual token accounts and cannot be counted cheaply with public RPC. Most mints here require the issuer to approve each account first.
Why are so many tokenized stocks on the list?
Several tokenized-asset issuers create every mint from the same Token-2022 template, which includes the confidential transfer extension (plus pausing, default frozen accounts and a permanent delegate). The board groups mints by the authority that controls the extension so you can see this.
Is this list complete?
No. It covers Token-2022 tokens on Jupiter's verified, trending, top-traded and recent lists. Use the box above to check any other mint directly from chain.
Can I use this to hide where funds came from?
No, and that is not what the extension does. Addresses and the flow between them stay public. This site is read-only and only explains what is on chain. We never ask for your seed phrase.
